We do all see things in a different way. And we like to create stories. It's what our brain does and, as Jr mentioned below, there is no escaping it. It's just what it likes to do.

Re: The past

Oooh! I Love your blind wise-men story. We are like the wise men. We are just as blind, I think.

Re: The past

Oh Moni I so agree. Think of the night with our Brother. What you said in your post hits it. We all live in different event "Zone" now. We all see stuff in such a different way. Honestly as siblings I really wish we could get on the same page. All my love! Kelly<br>

Re: The past

Very cool. I have been thinking along those same lines too (I wrote a bit about in my my blood post, "tumble"). I agree. Our experiences and how we see our past, influences what we think about the present and future. And we can't escape it. Our brain can't quite tell us the truth; it's just too much information...we just grasp what we can while we leave other pieces behind. It's very much like the story of the blind wise-men who tried to describe an elephant by touch only. They were all right. And they were all wrong.

Re: Photography Friday: Spring!

Thanks Preita! I just did the same thing a few weeks ago. I had built up to 5K and felt really good one night and decided to do "just one more mile". I could have kept going! I felt like Forrest Gump! It's such an accomplishment for both of us. I just did my first 5K run and signed up for a 10K in July. A running convert! Best of luck to your continued success!

Re: I am a ninja

Well it sounds like the ninja is doing what ninjas do. Cloaked in the web of misdirection and misconception, moving quietly towards victory while their opponents are none the wiser. Of course, I've never experienced endorphins from any form of exercise, so I can't be trusted.

Re: 42

Aww!
